Explore the next steps for effective and inclusive teaching and learning at this year’s UCR Teaching and Learning Week hosted by XCITE.
Join the XCITE Center for Teaching and Learning for a week of events on engaging with students and implementing innovative teaching techniques. This year’s theme is “The Equity and Excellence Imperative”.
This annual conference is FREE and open to any UCR faculty, instructor, or graduate student interested in improving their teaching skills.

12 - 1 p.m. | "Active Learning Strategies that Promote Higher Order Learning in Large Enrollment Introductory Courses" with Dr. Jack Eichler, Distinguished Teaching Award
Join us in the XCITE Commons or on Zoom Monday, October 14th from 12-1 p.m. for the 2024 Distinguished Teaching Lecture, delivered by award winner Dr. Jack Eichler, professor of teaching in the department of Chemistry, regarding the use of active learning strategies in large lecture courses.
